About
Dongdong She is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He received his Ph.D. at the Department of Computer Science, Columbia University, working with Suman Jana and Baishakhi Ray. Before coming to Columbia, he worked with Zhiyun Qian on Android Security at the University of California, Riverside. He earned his bachelor's degree at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is broadly interested in security and machine learning. Particularly, He focuses on applying data-driven approaches (e.g., large language models, machine learning, optimization) to solve security problems. He is the recipient of an ACM CCS Best Paper runner-up award and a finalist in the NYU CSAW applied research competition.
