About
Man Chun Tseng received the B.S. degree, M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Tseng's research direction is photo-alignment technology and new advanced liquid crystal display. The photo-alignment technology includes the photo-alignment materials properties, the structure for multi-domain display application and high-definition displays. The research work of advanced liquid crystal display includes fast response displays, LCD electronic paper technology, light-controlled smart windows and energy-saving displays.
