Fan SHI

About

Prof. Shi obtained his B.S. degree from Nanjing University (Acoustics) in 2010, and M.S. degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012. In 2015 he obtained PhD degree in the Department of Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, with an award of Unwin Prize for the best PhD thesis. After graduation, he worked as a postdoc research associate at Imperial College before joining in HKUST in 2019. He was awarded the John Grimwade Medal in 2022 from the British Institute of NDT.
